We collect what an order needs and nothing beyond it. This page sets out what that is, how long we keep it, and who to contact about it.
1. Who is responsible
Indian Glass Art is responsible for personal data processed through this website.

2. What we collect
| Identity & contact | Name, delivery address, phone number, order email — so a parcel can reach you and so we can answer questions about it. |
|---|---|
| Order data | Items ordered, amount, Order ID, delivery status, return and refund records. |
| Payment reference | For UPI, the transaction reference returned by the payment network. For Cash on Delivery, only the fact that cash was collected. |
| Technical data | IP address, browser type and pages visited, used to keep the website working and to detect abuse. |
| Correspondence | Emails you send us, and photographs submitted with a damage claim. |
3. What we do not collect
We do not collect or store card numbers, CVV codes, card expiry dates, UPI PINs or bank passwords. There is no card payment form on this website.
4. Why we process it
We process personal data to take and deliver orders, communicate with customers, handle returns and refunds, keep business records, prevent fraud and keep the website secure, in accordance with applicable Indian data-protection law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000. Where consent is required we obtain it in the manner required by law.
5. Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers needed to operate the store, deliver orders, process payments and provide hosting, or where required by law. Delivery partners receive your name, address and phone number, because they cannot deliver without them. Our payment provider receives the amount and reference needed to complete a UPI transaction. We do not sell personal data and we do not rent mailing lists.
6. How long we keep it
We retain order, transaction and accounting records for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which they were collected and as required by applicable legal, tax, accounting and dispute-resolution obligations.
Photographs submitted for a claim are deleted once the claim is closed, unless they need to be kept for a legal or dispute-resolution purpose. Enquiry emails that do not lead to an order are normally deleted within twelve months.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to information about your personal data, request correction or updating, request erasure where retention is no longer required, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
Write to [email protected]. We aim to acknowledge within 1 business day and will respond within the period required by applicable law. We may ask you to confirm information such as an Order ID before providing order details.
8. Grievance contact for privacy complaints
Privacy and data-protection complaints may be sent to the contact below. We have not appointed a separate named officer; this correspondence is handled directly by the person responsible for operating the shop.
